Requiem is in its current form a solo created by Love Hellgren.

I takes its inspiration in issues concerning communication over a very large distance and into posterity.

Material for research was NASAs Voyager Golden Record, which is a collection of sounds from our civilisation sent into deep space with the Voyager I and II probes.

​

Love also looked into the creation of Mozart's Requiem as a source of inspiration.
